Floor Plans, Westmont Hilltop, Elementary (August 10, 2015)

These are the proposed floor plans of a 3-story elementary school for Westmont Hilltop School District as shown to the school board in their meeting on August 10, 2015. The 1st floor plan indicates vehicle circulation on opposite sides of the building for cars/visitors and buses with entrances leading to a common lobby via secure vestibule through the administration office. Adjacent core spaces on this level are the gymnasium, band, art, computer and STEM classrooms. On either side of the entrance/core are classroom wings: the kindergarten wing and the main classroom wing which hosts 3rd and 4th grade students. On the 2nd floor, the core areas include kitchen, cafeteria and library with the classroom wing hosting 1st and 2nd grade students. The 3rd floor consists only of the classroom wing hosting 5th and 6th grade students. The classroom wing is of a configuration which can be easily extended should the need arise for additional classrooms.
